CLIENT CASE STUDIES

These case studies highlight the results of clients who completed HEART FIRST Coaching programs.

Using pre- and post-program assessments, performance tests, and brain maps, we’ve measured the positive changes in brain activity and overall well-being.

Explore how our programs are creating meaningful change and helping clients reach their full potential.

Summary of Findings

Brain mapping reveals how the brain functions, driving improvements in focus, emotional balance, and performance.

Common improvements in the following areas :

  • Better Sleep

  • Cognitive Performance

  • Focus and Concentration

  • Impulse Control

  • Mental Well-Being

  • Reduced ADHD Symptoms

  • Reduced Anxiety Symptoms

In collaboration with Stefanie Faye, a renowned expert in applied neuroscience specializing in neuroplasticity, resilience, and emotional intelligence. We’ve demonstrated that targeted brain training delivers measurable, life-changing results. These findings are based on pre-and post-program brain mapping of our coaching clients.

Understanding Brain Map Standardization and Color Scale

  • Color Scale: Represents standardized z-score units. Blue indicates lower activity relative to the norm, and red indicates higher activity.

  • Electrode Locations: Includes specific sites used to measure brain activity (Black Dots).

  • Standardization: Voltage values are normalized relative to the mean for the client’s age group at the time of their first assessment.

Better Sleep and Performance Focus

The post-program brain maps demonstrate better regulation of Delta brainwave activity, with improvements in both engagement during wakeful tasks and relaxation during rest. These changes suggest enhanced cognitive efficiency and emotional regulation.

The client's average alpha activity during both eyes-open and eyes-closed states suggests calm alertness and indicates a balance between relaxation and focus.

Enhanced Focus and Impulse Control

The client's improved score in the theta/beta ratio while counting suggests that they may have experienced an improvement in attention and cognitive processing, as well as better strategies to concentrate and manage mental resources.

Post-program 1.2

Exceptional improvements in the client's central theta/beta ratio and response while counting. This change indicates an improved ability to transition effectively from a relaxed state (associated with higher theta activity) to a more focused and attentive state (characterized by increased beta activity) and a strong capacity to engage attentively in the task at hand. This positive development suggests the client may have developed better strategies for managing attention and regulating impulses.

This client exhibited extremely low commission and omission errors in their Continuous Performance Task, indicating great impulse control and attentiveness, supported by a solid foundation in maintaining focus, as shown in their average reaction time and consistency of responses. The client's CPT performance post-program improved to exceptional levels compared with their pre-program performance, indicating an overall improvement in attention control and cognitive functioning.

Continuous Performance Task (CPT): This client's performance on the CPT yielded an extremely low number of commission and omission errors. This indicates exceptional attentiveness and impulse control, which are essential traits for cognitive efficiency. The assessments collectively highlight a strong cognitive state characterized by attentiveness, impulse control, and a balanced mental condition.

Improvement in Overall Mental Well-Being

Screenshot_2024-11-23_144712.png

This client's self-reported questionnaires reflect excellent wellness. Their general health is above average, as indicated by a very low GHQ-12 score, which is a sign of psychological well-being.

This is an exceptionally high improvement from this client's pre-program reports. These results, combined with their EEG data, demonstrate that the client is on a healthy, positive, and strong trajectory of continuous improvement in cognitive functioning, performance, and overall well-being.

This client's self-reported questionnaires reflect excellent wellness. Their general health is above average, as indicated by a very low GHQ-12 score, which is a sign of psychological well-being. The client appears to be extremely attentive and relaxed.

These results reflect an improvement from the client's previous report. These results, combined with the client's EEG and the multiple areas where significant progress was observed—even with some increased activity in beta and high beta—demonstrate that the client's brain is positively responding to the activities and lifestyle they are engaged with.
