The nervous system, communication style, emotional regulation, clarity, and identity of the leader directly shape the culture around them. Most organizations, teams, and families try to build culture backward. They start with goals, performance metrics, revenue targets, or outcomes. But if you truly want to understand how leaders create culture, you have to begin with identity first.
